All you have to do is follow the money...It spells GREED! Do not believe the quote "No jobs lost" either. All those new jobs in Mexico could have been in the USA somewhere if they had chosen to build that plant in the USA! Just my opinion....We need to keep jobs and factories on home soil.
Attachment 248140I have a 2002 F150 V8 Triton Super Cab with 195,000 miles on it. I will probably get a 2013 model in the Spring. I love their F 150 line of truck.
The plant in Mexico is going to be making a couple of small cars for Ford, not trucks. Most "American made" trucks are the Toyota Tundra & Ford F150 (tie) as of 2015 statistics.
In any event, since it will take a couple of years to build the plant ... we'll have a new President before that can happen.
There is a board game called "Settlers of Catan." Its a pretty basic game. You will have to "HAVE" help from your opponets at some point, and have to "CUT" your opponets throat at some point as well. And you need to make the right decision of when to do so or it could bite you in the rear in the end. But the entire point of the game is to establish ALL the resources needed to be self sufficient. That way when your opponets need something then you can barter or trade and while helping them you help yourself. But when it comes time to cut a throat....you better make sure you have all resources you need to win because your opponets will no longer do business with ya.
Its the same in this world. If we had all the factories and businesses (Resources) here on our soil, heck yes we could help other countries and in turn help ourselves while doing it. But if they didn't do right by us...CUT EM OFF. We don't need them.... they need us! Move everything off shore, then when we get ready to tell another country "Stick it in your ear" then we end up cutting our own hands of and harming the USA. Pretty simplistic game. And a blast to play!
I agree 100%. Cousin was a line supervisor at the GM plant in Arlington, Tx. until he retired. He felt the same way you do. He hated Mondays due to the sloppy work the
employees did after the weekends. At a dealership you have recourse if the work is done sloppy. Turn around and take it back to the dealership and make them do it
right.
I hope Trump does win - The other option is a disgraceful corrupt catastrophe. I think Trump would actually support tax breaks and make an environment conducive to successful business, and Ford would move back on its own accord.
Ford's Jobs Matter - ALL Jobs Matter!!
