    SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last year I replied to such and ad about a tractor. They want you to send the money and then they will ship the boat to you because their (fill in the blank) drives a truck nation wide and will deliver for free. They also try to convince you to send the money via a certain method which is supposed to be safe as they wont turn loose the money until you have received the product. It's all baloney. It would be great to get such a deal. I would buy several and make thousands by selling them local. Like the saying goes, "if it's too good to be true it's probably BS". Don't fall for it.

Typical Craigslist scams .... many of which have been going on since Craigslist was formed.

If it were a real deal, they wouldn't need to go through Craigslist to sell it, since a local would have snatched it up within hours of it being put up for sale.

I actually thought they were a little overpriced!!!! Never been a fan of Ranger boats or of anything with the word "bass" in it!!

These are what is called a "Phishing" scam. They are thrown out there to get people to call or email. After that, several things can happen. Most of the scams like this that I have seen, they want to send you the boat, motor, trailer, skid steer, etc... and have you pay the shipping cost. If you purchase the item, the shipping cost comes off the top (so they say). The scam is the price to see the product (which you will never see).

You figure, what kind of an idiot does something like this? Well, for every 10,000 people that see this for what it is, one guy is always out there thinking he is getting a deal. The scammer has zero time, effort, or money invested in the scam. All he did was find a picture of someone's boat online and posted it.

Thanks. Yeah it just looks too good to be true. I did join a FB group called, "Alabama boats for sale" on Facebook and I think that's a bit safer. You can close this thread. Sorry. I just wanted to ask you guys!

Several years ago I was looking for a Polaris Ranger 6x6. I found one on eBay for a good, but not extremely cheap, price and contacted the seller. From the pictures of the rig he supposedly had for sale, it was obvious the pics were made in the NE US. The seller said the Ranger was actually in Poland but could be shipped to my door for a small fee.I may have been born at night but it wasn't LAST NIGHT. I stopped my communication and reported the scam to eBay. I continued to get e-mails from the seller for months until I threatened to come find him and stomp a mudhole in his rear end.
