My job takes me into nursing homes on a daily basis. Whenever I see a man or a woman wearing a hat or something indicating they are a veteran, I always stop and talk with them and thank them for their service. Saying thanks seems inadequate at times for what vets have gone thru, but they always appreciate it. Not many WW2 vets left.
Thanks to all who served.
Godspeed sir
