Make sure to view full site. I think that option is at the bottom of the CDC page.
Sideways pics are the result of using the phone in the upright position (portrait mode) instead of sideways (landscape mode). Phones tend to download "portrait mode" pictures into a "landscape mode" position on this site.

And I've also been told that it's easier to see and post to this site (& post pics) if you use your phone to get on the site the same way you would on a computer. Then you can use the "insert image" icon (framed picture) in the selection bar above this text area.

You can, also, always use the "Test" forum ... to play around with how a picture is going to come across, before you actually download it to the forum you are posting in.

Personally, I don't understand all I know about all this cell phone picture posting stuff ... so I would defer any questions to "G" (SuperMod) or possibly to "Slab" (Ed Moes/owner).
