.... everybody got "what they paid for", eventually. The complaint "brought here" was that the individuals in the truck that was in the drive thru lane decided to put their complaint ahead of the needs of those in line behind them. They wouldn't have gotten their order corrected any slower/faster by pulling forward and allowing the rest of the line to get their orders and go.
Charity had nothing to do with this scenario. Narcissistic victimhood "it's all about me and to heck with the inconvenience I cause others" was the factor being complained about.
I've had to wait for my order, standing inside or pulled forward out of the drive thru lane, at several different restaurants ... and it never occurred to me, at ANY time, to hold up the progress of others attempting to get their orders filled. In fact, if I'm having a moment of indecision, I'll wave people ahead of me (inside) ... and if there's a problem with my order (outside), I'll politely pull up and wait for it to be corrected and brought out to me. It's called being "civil" !!
