Okay Ray,I took the bait, but the jig is up. I'm cranking now, when it's enough let minnow. That was a long line for a crappie pun.

Many, many years ago I was walking through a farmer’s field looking for bait to go blue gill fishing. As I walked along, I noticed a corn cob on the ground that was shaking and rolling in a most unusual way. I picked it up and a strange looking worm popped out of the corn cob. The worm wiggled out and said “My name is Motor”. “I am a magic worm and if you spare my life, I will tell you when to fish, what lakes to fish, what baits to use, etc.”

I figured I had nothing to lose, so I put him in my shirt pocket and took him home. After that, I always carried Motor in my shirt pocket and took him fishing with me. True to his word, Motor always gave me the best information on where and how I could catch fish. Time after time I brought my limit home.

Then one day, after walking through the farmer’s field looking for bait, I noticed that Motor was not in my shirt pocket. I looked everywhere for him but could not find him. I was despondent. Motor was gone.

For years I fished without him and hardly caught anything. I was lost without Motor. I almost gave up fishing.

Then one day, I was walking through the farmer’s field looking for bait and I noticed a corn cob on the ground that was shaking and rolling in an unusual way. I picked it up and to my surprise....OUT BORED MOTOR!!!!!!

    Boy was I glad.
