Ball games were made to be fun games for kids. Now parents get too involved and take the fun out of the kids games. I agree they are little boys and girls not men and women. This sign needs to be on all park fences.

It's not just ball games. My stepdaughter does competitive cheer leading. Granted it's supposed to be competitive, but the moms and dads take it way too far. Booing, yelling at critical moments during other teams' routines. It wouldn't surprise me if there was sabotage. Its like one of those ridiculous reality shows. Parents need to chill and let the kids have fun. Let kids be kids.

Those games are meant to build friendships and instill team work. Somehow that concept has been lost in the need to win at any cost.

The only bad thing about little league baseball games is the parents. I never saw a kid start a fight in the stands or on the field...but I have seen parents do it.

I helped coach baseball for 6 years. Parents, politics involved..... Glad it is over now.CF

I totally understand. I coached soccer for a season and a half then my job went to working so much overtime I had to turn it over to the other coach. You couldn't run fast enough to get me to do it again. Didn't have a big problem from parents but the way those kids behaved was a nightmare.
