Why would we ever need prisons if we could just ship them off to a desolate planet? DP

One way ticket to Mars, a seven month trip and never to return. Thousands applied, now down to 100. Been following this in Popular Science, etc. for a couple of years now. I know fellas, I think outside of the box. Life expectancy once there is roughly 36 days. Rockets to launch every two years. I don't know at this point if it's because of the lack of oxygen, food, radiation, or if they get hit in the head with an asteroid that kills them. Info here:

This is nuts. Hard to believe that the majority applied are well educated. Never will seen green grass, trees, flowing water, wildlife, etc. As far as I am concerned, they should have let me choose the ones that ride the one way trip to Mars:
Race pimps Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson will be the first on board.
The punk Kanye West will follow.
The snake in the grass senator David Vitter, along with the no-longer senator Mary Landrieu
The society writer in my local newspaper Ms. Chris Wartell
The beehive haired state employee at the DMV office
The list goes on

I am a heterosexual male. 2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
I can think of 100 Washington DC residents who would be perfect for Mars.
