If you pay attention, Hospitals are really bad for over charging Medicare patience. It was brought to my attention when my father was in the hospital and the night before he was to be released he had a relapse so they had to keep him another day for observation. They didn't do anything but just keep him for another day. Every time that he was in the hospital he always had an episode to which he had to stay another day for observation. That way they charge Medicare for another day of doing nothing but renting out a bed. EB
