2 burners or 3 ??

Can't go wrong with Weber. Bought my dad one last year. For me though, Advantage Charcoal.

I picked up a used Weber as partial payment for some work I did for a guy. That was in '88, gave it to my son 2 years ago. He still uses it several times a week. Wish I had it back. I prefer the taste of food on a charcoal grill compared to a propane grill.

I've assembled several different models over the years and I must say this Weber is built much better than the others. I agree about the charcoal tasting better. Gas is just simpler.

Charcoal rules in my book but for just two people gas does have its advantage.

The only thing I don't like about it is the way the tank has to be put in. It comes with a gauge that tells you how much gas is in the tank but it has to hang on the gauge. It can be a little awkward for us elderly gentlemen. But easy enough to work around.

If you have NG at the house, you can convert the propane grills over to NG, and it's sweet, no tanks to deal with, never run out of gas.

I have both. I prefer charcoal but time don't always allow me to use it so I kept a cheap gas grill for a quick steak or burger. About every 4 years I would get a new one would replace the burners more often than that. The last 2 were 2 burners with a side burner. I love the side burner. My wife got me a really nice one this Christmas. With 4 burners. Love it and will not go back to any less.
