Default 1 down and 1 to go

Had cataract surgery done on my left eye today and the right one is scheduled for the 30th. Sure will be glad when its all done. Right now its too early to tell the difference as it is still dilated a lot.

Bill, Hope everything goes well with your recovery. I have one in my right eye. I passed the driver's eye exam with out any problem a few weeks ago, but I can't read with that eye, even with reading glasses. Have to do all my close up stuff with my left eye. Will the surgery correct both close and distant vision??

It may be a couple of weeks until the eye heals some and adheres with the new lens. I had my right eye done last year and the left eye done a few weeks ago. He also had to burn off the thin film on the right eye after completely healing (about eight months later with a laser). What is also interesting is that my implants have a UV filter in them. Before I had my left eye done , I would go outside in the bright sun and would squint my left eye and not my right without even thinking about it. Have perfect vision now.
