Am certain we all vaguely understand how the political system "works" (or `doesn`t`), but simply am just astonished that men whom even in the 90`s would not have dared to run for political office out of plain SHAME and well proclaimed noteriety now go to a 2 wk country club "rehab" facility and are proclaimed "cured" and run for office awaiting the voters to elect them no matter how heinous their offenses...the New York City Mayor race and the debacule in San Diego are but the latest...honestly, WHERE are the `Eisenhowers`? I understand some people vote "party line" the whole way, OK. But would GLADLY vote for a candidate who was "squeekly" clean so long as they had a plan that doesn`t ask me personally to make millionares and billionares richer at MY personal expense, improved our economy and actually DID what was best for the MAJORITY (98%) of Americans...
