yeah, and both those verses refer to how UNBELIEVABLE it would be to actually handle a snake and NOT be bitten, or to not DIE if you are bitten. That's what makes them powerful. The fact that it takes faith in GOD ALMIGHTY to handle these wretched creatures....

That isn't what it says at all in context. The bible does a fantastic job of referencing serpents (snakes) and THE serpent (Satan). The devil is also referred to as the shiny thing. Do you have this much hate for bass boats as well? I couldn't blame you for that.
