Most of you guys would not want to be around my taxidermy studio, day or night. It is located in one of the most densely populated areas for cottonmouths in the country. I deal with them almost weekly and find them to be very docile, non-threatening if left alone. I watched my 5 month old female lab pup step all over one last week and it never threatened to bite her. Doubt that scenario would happen again but I saw it with my own eyes. The cottonmouth now resides in one of my freezers until I decide to mount it for display.

A couple purchased a camp/boatlaunch/bait shop on my home lake about 3 years ago. Tore the old store down (it was pretty bad off) and rebuilt a new one. The man that owns it told me that while they were bulldozing it, cottonmouths just came out every where. He said they were in the ceilings, walls etc. I though to myself, OMG, I have walked in that place a thousand times. Just a thought...lol
