2000 2500 chevy crew cab with towing package. Also have 2002 Trailblazer with tow package. Both handle my boat (18-1/2 ft Spectrum Multi species boat) very well, but on a trip I like the ride of the truck better. It gets 18 on the hwy and 15 in town. EB

No boat yet but when I do get one it will be pulled by my 2012 F-150. For now it does a fine job of hauling my ice chest and gear along with a huge cup of coffee.
My wife's Fusion doesn't do a very good job hauling anything around, I doubt it would pull a boat with any ease either.

Well I went off the reservation. I had 3 Chevy S10 Balzers, an 84, a 93 that a guy totaled for me, and a 95. All did OK but were just basic models. I usually bought one a couple of years old and drove around 10 years b4 I traded. I decided I wanted some creature comforts and since 90% of the time I am not towing a boat I bought a 4 year old Acura MDX. It is a good bit larger than the S!0s. Even has a 3rd row seat that folds completly flat into the floor board. I did not realize it had one until the salesman showed it to me. It was a certified preowned on with 65K miles on it, Normally that would have concerned me, but being certified through Acura to a 100K I felt better about the mileage. I have had it 7 years and it has 150K on it and so far I have replaced the power steering pump for $325. That is it, other than routine maintenance items.
It rides good, gets good gas mileage, 17 city and 25 highway. Strange vehicle for a tow car, but I love it.

A piece of crappie 2004 Ford Explorer. And if I want to eject a cd, I wait for the "err" code to come up when I push eject, then slap the dashboard--out she comes... sometimes.
