What's so great about Crappie.com

[Crappie Reaper]

After hashing out what's the best line? What's the best rod? How deep? How shallow? Live bait vs. artificial. Most of us that have been members for years now found the off topic board. Alot of us have made great friends with others across the Country we would have never known if not for this forum. Some of them great, and some you'd like to just knock the crap out of or at least accidently knock out of the boat. We've lost members to death as well as chased off a Moose to boot.

Crappie.com off topic has become an extension of the BS that can take place amoung friends while fishing together. It's created a comradery that reaches across State Lines as well as taken the place of the local fishing report.

For all the people I've met through this great site, far exceeds the quality of people I've met in a normal setting. The love of Crappie fishing has brought us all together, except that dude that really don't know how to fish, Fishinpox. He's special!

The off topic area is the true gathering place for the nomads of Crappie.com. We know everything about anything and will not hesitate to link our opinions (at least most of us). We do have our share of wannabes and that's fine too.

We each know who we would pat on the back, or just slap upside the head. Regardless of how much we try and change someones opinion on a particular subject, we also know that's not going to happen.

I tip my hat to the Off Topic regulars and remember....Don't forget to yank the new guys chain a bit. After all, we need to know what gets their shorts in a wad don't we?
