    Default Omg.....fox news

You know, I find it amusing the libs here never post anything of Barrys "accomplishments", why? I mean....he's done so much, ain't he?

Well, Fox News has done your work for you, so since they've taken the time to publicize the amazement called Barry, I thought I'd share.

Obama warns against steep spending cuts, presses for immigration bill in inaugural address | Fox News

President Obama launched into his second term with a sharply worded inaugural address Monday -- using the platform to "reject" steep cuts to entitlements, press for an immigration reform package and wag the finger at Washington's penchant for "name-calling" and "spectacle."
    Gotta feed the Gimme Pigs

Obama's 20-minute inaugural address, delivered to a packed crowd on the National Mall right after he took the oath of office, effectively set the tone for the next four years. After a rocky four years marked by bitter battles between the White House and Republicans in Congress, Obama made clear he would continue to press those lawmakers to move toward him on some of the toughest policy questions ahead.
That's how it works when you're king, you don't budge, everyone else does.

Declaring that the country cannot succeed "when a shrinking few do very well and a growing many barely make it," he described those programs as a vital safety net -- though, without some intervention, budget forecasters warn they will not be sustainable in the long term.
    Socialism....do well, get punished.

More immediately, Obama has stated that Congress must increase the debt ceiling to keep the country from defaulting on its bills and that he will not negotiate on the issue
We can't be broke....he's still got checks left...........

The president and the first lady will close out the day's festivities with two official inaugural balls Monday night.
'cause that's how he rolls...one ain't enough, besides....who's footing the bill?

In his address, the president who was the first in history to endorse gay marriage also included a reference to the cause of gay rights. "Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law -- for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well," he said.

Come Tuesday, the president returns to work trying to build on a first term which was largely defined by him getting Congress to pass the comprehensive health-care overhaul that he signed into law in 2010 and ending the hunt in 2011 for 9/11 terrorist Usama bin Laden.

He notched other major accomplishments, some more controversial than others. He signed the law repealing the 1990s-era "don't ask, don't tell" policy, in turn allowing for gays and lesbians to serve openly in the U.S. military. He also signed into law the $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2009 to spur economic growth amid the worst recession since the Great Depression. More recently, Obama suspended deportation for younger illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. by their parents.
Lots to be proud of there....yeah.....

Now I know this one ain't Fox, but thought it should be included with Barrys "accomplishments". Be sure and tell your kids how much they're on the hook for, before they even see their 1st Birthday.

First Term: Obama Increased Debt $50,521 Per Household; More Than First 42 Presidents in 53 Terms Combined | CNS News

During Barack Obama’s first term as president of the United States, the debt of the federal government increased by $5.8 trillion, which exceeds the combined debt accumulated under all presidents from George Washington through Bill Clinton.
On Jan. 20, 2009, when Obama was first inaugurated, the total debt of the federal government was $10,626,877,048,913.08, according to the U.S. Treasury. As of the close of business on Jan. 17, the last day reported by the Treasury before Obama’s second inauguration, the total debt of the federal government was $16,432,631,489,854.70.
Thus, from Obama’s first inauguration to his second, the federal government’s debt grew by $5,805,754,440,941.62.

Given that the Census Bureau currently estimates that there are 114,916,000 households in the United States, the $5,805,754,440,941.62 debt increase under Obama equals about $50,521 per household.
Good job Barry on your "accomplishments". I'm sure they'll be nowhere in your mind while you're whoopin' it up tonight on the taxpayers dime, many of those taxpayers unemployed and foreclosed on.

"Steep cuts to entitlements...." Was something he threatened the GOP with when they challenged Zero to stop the handouts.
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D

No, Lowell.... I don't think that's the case, at all. Just two directly opposite views on the direction we need to go, to get this country back to a more stable & prosperous state of being.

One cannot ONLY watch CNN or the other Liberal Media talking heads, and think that's the ONLY news worthy of taking into consideration or believing. If one does, one would think that everything is hunky dory and the government is going to solve all of our problems. (and we ALL know that's not the case, because it was the Government that CAUSED them, to begin with)

One cannot ONLY watch Fox News, with its far right agenda spin, without thinking that the world is going down the tubes ... and it's the Left's fault.

Try taking in BOTH sides of the story ... and assume the truth is likely somewhere in between the spins of both media outlets. Both sides cannot be correct, at the same time, so the truth has to be somewhere in between.

The BIGGEST problem that faces this nation, IMHO ... is not what all the opposing media outlets are debating ... but is, in fact, that the Left has swung too far to the left & the Right has swung too far to the right, leaving little negotiable space between their ideologies/agendas.

It is VERY American to not like to lose, or be considered to "think wrong". I seriously doubt that, even if the current POTUS was a Martian, and did the same things as the Liberal Left leaning President is proposing ... that the Right Wing half of the Nation would be any less negative toward him. They're just too diabolically opposed ideologies, because they're on opposite ends of the pendulum swing.

That's my worth, in any event.

    ... cp

The only stuff on TV worth watching is NCIS and Swamp People and The Mud Catters. We mostly watch Halmark Channel.

I don't need a TV to tell me what is right or wrong. These values were put in place when I was a youngster (there was no TV). TV is make believe.

Thank goodness for Fox News! I'm so happy that there's ONE network not on Obama's payroll.
