You are correct in the points you made but personally I think we should make an effort to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and folks who might not be mentally stable... I just don't believe arming our entire society would make us more secure, I believe the more folks we have carrying guns the more at risk we are from gun violence, that does not however mean I think you should not have the right to keep firearms, it meant that not having a gun available at the time might lead folks to resolve their differences in a more peaceful manner.

The only thing a group of unarmed citizens achieve's is easier targets for the people willing to break laws......your ides sound nkce in an idea world, but we live in a far diff world than idea

Or even that battery of 90MM anti aircraft flak guns, in case we`re attacked by our own Air Force ? The question NO ONE EVER answers is "So, do you WANT/ should it be "LEGAL" for your NEXT DOOR neighbor to OWN ANYTHING HE WANTS TO?" Chemical weapons, biological weapons, (polio, smallpox, amthrax, ect?) Flame thrower? VERY FEW of these "anything GOES" jokers apparently "trust" their NEIGHBORS 'judgement" very much; so long as the ultra armed to the teeth decision is clearly given to someone whom may not have as "good" judgement as themselves...SO WHAT if they can destroy the entire neighborhood? If you can "accidently shoot into their house, they SHOULD be able to destroy YOU and your entire neighborhood, RIGHT?

"Go"??? He'd have to turn-around and backtrack just to get to the edge.

He's a troll, it's not hard to figure out he's using you like a cat does a ball of yarn. All you're doing is providing entertainment because he has nothing better to do. He never made sense, still don't, and never gonna.

He's like 7up.....never had it, never will

I know a guy that has a 50 caliper sniper rifle. Has about 7k in it. He is ex military was attached to a seal team. He shoots big game with it a long way off, just for kicks. He has every right to own such a weapon

He probabily has a VERY GOOD idea of it`s capabilities and EXPERIENCE with it. DOUBT it would be his "go to' weapon to kill an intruder, unless he had NO neighbors within a considerable distance. But TELL ME right here, right now how much "safer' you`d feel KNOWING your next door neighbor with little to zero experience with even a .22 just bought 1 for "home defense". TELL ME, knowing that depending on the type ammo and just better than dumb luck you can EASILY shoot COMPLETELY thru the neighbor`s house and into HIS next door neighbors house...2X the chance to "accidently" kill someone else...LET`S ALL go buy a .50 cal sniper rifle for "home defense" !!!
