i find it ironic that folks of a particular mind frame feel its paranoid to own a particular firearm, or practice their right to carry a firearm concealed......also find irony those same fplks feel its the governments place to protect humans from themselves, after all they are (government) extreemly trustworthy, run programs such as social security so well, and can spend less money than they take in......seems like alot of regurgitation of what a particular political party expects its followers to believe is being posted with out much regard to forming an actual unbiased opinion or thought......If government intervention is your solution to moral questions you strongly need to rethink where you seek your answers from.

If you didn't enjoy debating this issue you wouldn't be on this thread and you also know it doesn't matter how you present your argument you can't change the mind of someone whose opinion might not be lock step with yours, other than different opinions this thread would have never taken on the life that it has... I have fired a BAR. It is awesome. I have fired a M14. It is awesome. I have fired a Thompson. It is awesome. I don't owe any, but I do not begrudge anyone owning them and I understand the urge to shoot them.. Shooting the BS can be more devastating that a BAR. Just look at the BS shot from from washington. BS bombs from the top down.

Our govt is the biggest gun runner in the country. Headed by U no who. The hypocrites should try listening and living by their own BS.

Why doesn't OBAMA disarm the Secret Service first as a show of good faith? Why can he have armed guards to protect him and his family but expect us not be armed and protect ours?
