HARTFORD -- Connecticut will have the toughest gun laws in the country if the Legislature adopts a proposal to be unveiled Wednesday by an organization representing the overwhelming majority of the state's towns and cities.

I love the way the new media rewrites reports.
Adam Lanza, a mentally troubled 20-year-old, shot his mother to death on the morning of Dec. 14, took her legally acquired weapons to Newtown's Sandy Hook Elementary School, blasted his way through the front door.

They can climb up on their political stumps and point their fingers toward the heavens,beat their chests,and scream,look what we done,,we are wonderful,we fixed the problem,,,But,,when it all backfires on them who are they going to blame?,,the gun?A lot of political people will be looking for other employment when the statistics come out about what a great job they have done on (fixing) the problem,If they tell the truth,we have gun laws on the books,but they are not enforced,some that make so sense at all.For instance,in baltimore its against a city law to shoot a wild hog while riding on a street car,we are going to have less to protect ourselves while the scum has exactly what they have always had and the honest citizen is taking the blame,,Lord have mercy on us

It's illegal to lie when filling out the federally required gun-purchase questionnaire.The FBI reported in 2009 that it had found 71,000 instances of such lying, but the Justice Department prosecuted a mere 77 cases.

Our local Wally World stated today they will not be getting anymore ammo.............but, can sell what they have left as well as the guns. They won't be
ordering anymore of anything until after they find out what the prez does with his EO's. Zero ammo on the shelves and watched the last gun removed
from the rack and placed into the box. Customer left happy. C R A Z Y times out there.

The local walmarts not getting anymore ammo is up to the management. Walmart Inc. will empty their warehouse to those that order it. They will not reorder until this mess is over.

"Mad Max beyond the Thunderdome" comes to mind...can`t help but remind me of "Hot Shots- Part Deux" where good old Charlie Hopper is blazing away with his trusty M 60 up to his armpits in spent cartridge cases shooting at a guy 15 feet away. Then him picking up handfulls of bullets and throwing them to kill the enemy. Sad thing is wonder how many children will find and be killed by all the new arsenals in America ? But, it`s OKAY, we can sacrifice MANY more to ENRICH the gun makers and so everyone who wants to can live the "RAMBO" illusion...after the funeral, of course.

At my age I can still remember when we had prayer in school, and many other things that taught kids respect for others and life itself. You will never make a law that will stop the gun violence or for that matter any type of mass killing in this country, it will never happen. As long as this society denies God . This country was founded on a Christian principal and was ment to be a Christian nation. This is no longer a Cristian country and it has been stated by our President. When he was on TV searching for a way to stop the gun violence talking about Sandy Hook, I wanted to tell him to get on his knees and pray, pray till God gave him an answer and then maybe he would know what to do. Bring God back into the society, that is the only solution .
