I coulda used a little crow hunting last night except we are inside the city limits. About dusk crows began to settle into the trees along my back alley and the street behind that. Dozens of trees all black with roosting crows. They didn't shut up all night either. There had to be thousands. As it started to get light the whole thing broke up and they left, but I still couldn't get back to sleep. I hope they find some place else tonight. The racket kept me awake most of the night, waking me up a number of times after I had finally dozed off.

It is really amazing how well these winter crows have adapted to our urban setting - too well really!

no1son, I was over at a friend's home the other day, and he showed me his new electronic caller. There was not a crow in sight. He turned that thing on and in minutes the sky was full of crows.

You need to get one and set it up on the other end of town.

I had a similar problem. I set off 6 of the smallest bottle rockets all at one under the roost. I twisted the fuses together so all ignited at the same time. Worked very well for me.

Used my electronic caller yesterday late afternoon and was able to help a dozen or so take dirt naps
