But he turned his back on the Anti-guns people when he didn't move on Fienstines bill.
Now Fienstien is off in a cloud of self importance saying he will have to address her bill now.

Hysteria is a great "Fact" of the liberal cause. They think this will be the hinge pin of an Anti-gun wave of conclusive Gun laws.

Well done. IL people enjoy your freedom to carry. This is where this tread started.
Somewhere along the line a new thread should have been started. But since we are on the subject of a CCP, why not jump in about gun control. Which would have been another thread. Then the CT shooting, which should have been another thread.
I watch the news the day of the shooting. Since the media wants to pop in to a program I want to watch. As far away as I am, it could have waited til noon. When my tv would have been off.
What have you learned so far about this boy? Was he living with his mother, or out on his own? Did he have a job? Did he sit and play games all day? What set him off to go after her or who? Did she ask or tell him to do something?
That reminds me, I was was sitting in the car waiting for my wife to get in. A kid (teenager) was pulling the leaves off of my hedge row that divides my yard from my neighbor. I said, "hay, leave the leaves alone." He replies, "you could ask nicely." I said, "I didn't ask ----, I told you." We don't have to worry about him anymore. He got into trouble later and ran. But not far enough.
