As far as "destroying" this nation, would think you are lumping all of them togrther. 2- 5% I`ll buy into. But that same generation (of which I`m 1 of ) also brought off the defeat of Communism and the (relatively) PEACEFUL collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact, the victories in both Gulf Wars, carried out the death of Had Been Ladden, and even now are again carrying the fight to the Taliban and Al Quida in yet another offensive for the 4th winter in a row...previously the only other military to EVER do that was Alexander the Great`s and at horrific cost on BOTH sides. This generation has "the right stuff"...

Lot of us here were born before the boomer generation. I guess we the dunno generation. LT, I believe you hybridized the Generation Gaps. We live in a great country with crap leaders.
