LT, I can do all the above except remove my own hemroids. I could get that F18 in the air, but I would need a golden parachute to get back down.

Actually, from what have seen the F-16 and 18 both are rather easy to basically fly, BUT are designed to be inheritantly unstable ie VERY easy to manouver. Greatest danger to a novice pilots are ground looping or loss of lift/ stability at high speed. Again, computer assisted recovery at altitude will almost always allow recovery. At LOW altitude, only option is grab the yellow and black upper or lower "EXIT" handle(s) and jeck towards yourself REAL HARD. Ejection sequence puts you under rip-stop nylon approx 3 seconds later. Volunteered to do human test subject ejections at NAS China Lake back in the 1980`s but was never allowed to. Take the rocket ride...wanted to get a "Tee" shirt that reads "I fly ACES II" But did help pack 6 that were used successfully, as well as several life preservers and rafts that worked.
