I haven't fallen out yet, hopefully I never will. I'm sure glad your misfortune took place during warmer weather and there was a boat nearby to help you out. Cold water and just your grandson to help, things could have been much worse. A month or so ago I was waiting on the water for an older fellow to get his boat on the trailer. He slipped while in the water with waders on, and his back to his trailer. I beached my boat, and it took me a few minutes to get him standing and stabilized. He might have been able to help himself given time, but if the water was cold, he would have been in dire straights.
