    Default home invitations

Maybe times have changed, but it seems I am out of place when it comes to understanding home invitations. To me, there are two types: 1. Anytime invitation or 2. Call before invitation.

It may just be that im taking it literally. But when someone gives you an anytime invitation to their home, you can come over anytime (within the boundaries of normality). I don't expect to be invited at 2am on a Wednesday, that makes no sense. But other than that, your welcome anytime.

Call before, it plain and simple. If you want to come over, call before and let us know.

Of course, if you get no invitation, its more like a "Don't call us, we'll call you" invite.

Does any of what i said makes sense? Or have i misinterpret the guidelines of home invitations?

No, it doesn't make sense. That's why you have no invitation from me.

Chris, when Beav drops in on you just say "Beav, if you ever leave please come back to see me".RoflRofl He might get the message.

This had nothing to do with EB. But i appreciate the input anyway. Guess I'll have to break a bad habit of mine.

i guess you need to ask yourself if the door swings both ways...does the person you "drop in on" do the same to you?...if so do you mind?...if not well........

Makes sense to me. For example: Come on over anytime Saturday, I'll be home all day long. OR IF your coming over Saturday, call first, I may be out running erands.

Now if your planning on coming over anytime, be forwarned that every room in my house is a naked room. You might want to call first.
