AWESOME!
Your avitar reminds me of Clint Eastwood, is that you man? LOL
Hope you don't mind me sending some of your pictures to a relative
doing the same thing to a bus within the next 6 months. He's retiring too.
If an old man driving a Royal Red 2011 F250 pulls up alongside you and
toots his horn, give him a wave and pull over. Red WS Ride will be tied
on top of truck.

That is some fine work ya done there.
Nope, that's Clint (from Gran Torino), but, I've been told there's a bit of a resemblance. I'm hoping to get the chance to meet a few members this Fall, so if anyone sees me, feel free to wave me over.
Thanks to everyone else, I'm pretty proud of it, and have been happy with everything so far.
I'll toss-in a pic of my wood stove. I made it from a 100 pound propane cylinder:
Some of these were "in progress" pics, so trim and finishing may not have been painted/completed yet.
Bottom is ash drawer, middle is firebox, and top is oven. I've made cornbread, meatloaf, and cookies in it. I can use the top for a warmer or heat water on it.
Have to post this, seems to get the most comments Rofl
The little outhouse is back-lit, and shines through the moon cut-out
My converted chest freezer (to 'fridge), I added 1/2" of poly-iso (insulation) and covered it, I have plans to paint a Mail Pouch barn advertisement on it....one of these days.
PV Solar system, 820 watts of Panels, 1000+ AH of AGM batteries, 60 amp MorningStar Charge Controller, and 3000watt Magnum Pure Sine Wave Inverter
The entire roof deck is basically for panels, that's about all there's room for (no setting/standing room)
Inverter mounted under the bench seat at the table.
Batteries are accessed from outside, and set under the fridge (which sets up on a platform)
Battery Box Door (during paint)
All the electrical is in a cabinet behind the 'fridge
Couch covers the 75 gal fresh water tank
And the bed hides a 75 gal gray tank
Made my sink from a large salad bowl (I use dish pans for dirty dish duty)
(Before I added upper cabs)
Something I need to finish (wiring) is my elevator on the rear of the bus, to access the roof. A platform (I stand on) rides up/down the 2 pipes via 12v winch, the control buttons were removed and mounted in the box so it rides up/down with the platform.

That is extremely cool. It's like a work of art and engineering combined.
When I retired in 2002 we sold our house, put our stuff in storage and hit the road in our RV (Winnebago Motor Home) and it is impossible to describe to someone who has not done this what a great feeling of freedom it is. As to being lonesome, we met and made friends all over the US.
We built a house in 2007 and are not travelling any more. (Matter of fact our RV is listed it the classified here) We stay in touch with many of the friends we made out on the road. I am flying to Wisconsin next week to meet one of our RV buddies for a week of fishing in Canada.
To anyone who has ever considered living on the road, I can tell you it was the best 5 years of our life, and if circumstances had allowed it we might still be out there.
