Constitution 101: "The Meaning and History of the Constitution"

I've just listened to the fourth week of this course and I'm finding it all so informative and utterly fascinating. If you all are anything like I was in school you were left with a few factual dates and tidbits about the Constitution but nothing in depth as to the goals reasons and issues the founders struggled with in establishing such a tremendous document.

This country is currently faced with forces wanting to chart a course direction that fundamentally alters what was originally debated and started. It all just seems so prudent to me that if a country wants to change course they should first fully see and understand what they will be changing from as they choose a new course. I think our public education system has completely failed in this area and I also think those that want this course change would prefer that we didn't have a greater understanding on "The Meaning and History of the Constitution".

I would certainly enjoy seeing comments and arguments from those of the progressive utopian bent offer their critiques on why they think their course is preferable over the course charted by our founders.

I have heard of this and plan to check it out. Anything Hillsdale puts out should be great.
