I never gave the birthers much of a second thought until the BC provided to the Country by the White House giving into the pressure placed by Donald Trump. It's a fake, the Administration knows it and koolaid drinkers like yourself keep prentending he's done a good job. No one said anything in this thread about trying to have him removed from office. There you go again assuming you know what you're talking about. If in fact the BC is fruadulent, then I see no reason that he is qualified to run as President of the United States of America according to our Consitutional Laws. Fool us once, shame on him, fool us twice, proves the Countries full of fools that voted the man in a second term. Do you prefer him because of his color rather than the content of his character? The man does not know the meaning of character.

Agreed, none mention Arizona`s Sheriff of Maricopa County who according to the Huffington Post has been asked by several hundred Tea Party members in Arizona to force Obama to LEGALLY be disqualified from the 2012 Presidential election because of accusations that he was born in Kenya, (see above Politifacts judgements ), that he lied at BIRTH about where he was born (see above) that he "was raised Muslim" (am not sure that`s a CRIME, at least not yet: see above) and various other things (see above ). My thought is to elect ME the Royal Queen of England and since you don`t (or WON`T) believe PolitiFacts, I solomnly promise to get to the TRUTH of ALL THIS ! Sherriff Joe Arpaio apparently will not really have time to, with the FEDERAL Grand jury indictments of abuse of power, racial profiling and discrimination, and revelation that his department apparently chose not to "adequately' investigate several HUNDRED sexual crimes; several dozen of the victims are apparently looking to file a class action lawsuit with the Arizona State Prosecutor. Until Arpaio is cleared of charges of massive abuse of power and hundreds of cases of inadequate investigations, he has no validity as any kind of source. I am baffled that otherwise honest people would jump at the opportunity to believe anything of any kind from any source to justify the intense hatred so many of them have of Barack Obama.
Be aware that any image or video on the Internet can be easily faked. None of them are dependable evidence of anything. Evidence of photoshopping can be easily produced and introduced at any point including after initial publication. Arpaio as a source is unreliable on his past history alone.
The real question comes down to who is willing to be duped by which dubious sources.

And this agenda you speak of is driven by guess who? Eric Holder, who is about the biggest crook we've ever had in that position. The same Eric Holder that refuses to follow the laws set forth in this Country and enforces them as he sees fit in accordance with what his puppet master Obama tells him. Little things such as ordering dropping of the New Black Panthers that bullied voters during the last Presidential election. If you're going to talk about any Federal investigation, it should begin at the top and work it's way down. The current Administration will do anything they can to prevent anyone from getting their water muddy. There has never been a more unlawful Admisnistration in the history of the US. Hands down, this President is the worst to ever hold the office. He makes Jimmy Carter look like a Hero.
I have a feeling that the charges against Arpaio will have no merit in the long run as it's just another ploy by the left to shut down someone trying to do his job right.

If you would take the time (the video is over an hour long and I realize that some of you out there are incapable of watching and understanding anything that lasts over 2 minutes) to actually watch the video, the investigation done by independant professionals at no cost to the taxpayer, used the EXACT copy the WHITE HOUSE THEMSELVES RELEASED so there was NO PHOTOSHOPPING!
And if you Google Joe Arpaio charges, you'll see that most are racially motivated. That's about all this Administration can conjure up. Let's throw something at him and see if it sticks type attitude. I didn't find anything about "massive abuse of power" or "hundreds of cases of inadequate investigations". Would you please cite your sources on these statements?

Makes no difference whether Joe is correct or reliable. The real point is whether the accusation that Obama is not legally eligible to be POTUS can be proven(as laid out in Art. II of the Constitution). So far the evidence isn't adequate enough for the opposing party to make a case of it. I don't need to have faith in the word of the President or the Democratic Party, it's enough to have faith that the Republican Party would make a case of it IF there was a case to be made(unless for some reason they really don't want a Republican president in office at this time). I do have that faith, just as I have faith that the Blue team would dig just as hard if the shoe were on the other foot. My faith in the nastiness of politics comes from paying attention for the past 40 years.No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.
I personally believe that if neither the Hillary camp or the McCain camp could find enough to make a legitimate case of it then there isn't enough evidence to make a legal argument at all. IF the opposing factors in the last election missed something that could be brought before the legal system, rest assured that there will be enough resources brought to bare in the coming election to reveal it. I'm not arguing about whether he really is "a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States", just about whether it can be proven that he isn't. So far the answer is no it can't. A lot of people have spent the last 4+ years and $$$$$$$ trying to do so with very little to show for it. To date the "birther" issue is in the same category as the accusations that GW Bush was AWOL from the NG or that his daddy helped him out of cocaine charges. Either (or both) of the latter may be true, and many who despised GW believe they are true, but without proof that can stand the legal test it is no more than rumor or slander.
As to the accusations that Obama is really a Muslim, legally it is irrelevant. Art. VI of our Constitution statesHe can be a Catholic, a Mormon, a Satanist or even an atheist and is eligible for office. It does effect whether people vote for a candidate, but not whether he or she can be legally voted for or whether they have a Constitutional right to hold office."No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."
It is ironic that so many people use a Constitutional argument to say Obama is not eligible for office very closely followed by such an anti-Constitutional argument of his religion. If it were truly a concern for constitutional legality then the argument of religion would not be made. If it were simply a matter of religion then it would be out of character to include constitutional arguments(since the Constitution so explicitly prohibits religious tests).
The really puzzling thing is why, with so much going on in the country, with the hordes of controversial policies that have been put in place over the past 3 1/2 years, with the economy in such bad shape, unemployment rates so high, energy costs going up, average salaries stagnant or going down, why is this unprovable argument so danged important? Seems to me that there is plenty enough PROVEN OBVIOUS fact to attack the Obama administration on without going off tilting windmills.(Don Quixote was an entertaining character, but he isn't well respected for his wisdom)
Addressing the topic of the thread - "America's been duped!" - you betcha! Couldn't agree more. If we vote for ANY politician because we believe that they will put the interests of their constituents, community & this country ahead of their own personal interests we're being duped!
