In jackin' with OWS peeps on Facebook, I have discovered that some are plain loony! The rest(on the street), seem to be vagrants/homeless, the perpetually unemployed, and criminals.

Our government is corrupt. The leader is the most corrupt person to ever hold the office. Worse than Roosevelt. Insider trading, bundlers, buy offs, pay backs? POS.

I don't pay all that much attention to politics, but you do realize that ALL of that went on under the last President too, don't you? The Bush Presidency was hardly the epitome of straight-shooting, open, honest government.

The majority of the problems that caused the current economic meltdown began before Obama even got elected.

OWS is yet another diversion from what is really going on. The media, owned by a specific group, is distracting the public from the bigger picture which is the obvious mess that the administration has made of everything else. The sheep have flocked to downtown locations in many cities to join the bandwagon. Not sure about your cities, but when the news covered it here in Louisville it looked more like a circus sideshow melting pot of misfits.

To even be allowed to have SERIOUS political backing to run for office would imagine you`d have to agree to "play ball" to begin with. And while Roosevelt probabily WAS as corrupt as were most major politicans of his time, give the man this: he foresaw the danger of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. At a time of "PEACE at ANY COST" he quietly set in motion the gears of rearmament, and at a critical moment helped Great Britian AND Russia with "Lend- Lease' that likely was the difference between their ultimate defeat and allowed them to stay in the fight. And on the words of several scientests he ordered the begining of the project that ultimately probably saved close to 200,000 Allied and 2,000,00+ Japanese lives by AVOIDING an actual invasion of the Japanese home Islands even after his own life while steadfastly DEMANDING "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER', and acheiving it. He oversaw the "Arsenal of Democracy' shoved into hyperdrive that simply smothered the AXIS forces under an unbelieveable avalanche of men, planes, ships, tanks, food, ammo, trucks, kitchen sinks and toilet paper that utterly destroyed them. All else aside, GOOD ENOUGH for me !
