    They're not all that rare anymore, I've seen pictures of them from all over the country...they're elegant to observe for sure though...
    Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.

    My AUnt used to feed deer in her back yard in Northern Wisconsin. Within the heard was a mother and doe, both Albino. I've seen them both less than 15' away, and closer when I almost ran one of them over leaving her house. The red eyes freak me out.

    They use to be pretty rare. Years ago they had a full mount of one in a case at an old country store I use to go to. I think the store is gone now.
