True Grit

After seeing the new True Grit movie Thursday night, I watched the old True Grit on AMC last night..It was my first time seeing the old movie..

To me there is no comparison...I liked the old version much, much better...

I do think that Jeff Bridges is a great actor and did a good job in this new movie..I just liked the old version better...

I haven't seen the movie, but from seeing clips and previews of Bridges acting, I thought it was a very poor job of someone attempting to sound "western". No way he comes close to John Wayne.

The producers dont care if we like it better or not......all they want is the revenue. Too many re-makes nowadays.

I saw it Sunday. Pretty much everyone in the movie besides the little girl talked like they had a mouth full of marbles.

If they were trying to pull off some sort of western accent, they missed it by a landslide.
