This was a couple of days in the making. This past Thursday found me back in Grand Chenere catching crabs again ending the day with 98. Getting home later than expected thanks to Maps on my phone I didn’t get to boil till Friday. On a good note I passed places I had never been to in my state and seen more rice fields than I knew existed, even saw 2 Bald Eagles around Mamou. We ate boiled crabs for two days then cleaned about forty for this big pot of crab and shrimp stew.that’s a big crab
breakfast Saturday morning one soft crab sautéed in butter and two eggs over easy with toast and fig preserves
Sunday I cut up the Holly Trinity
You know your going to eat good when these 2 pots hit the stove
One for the shrimp stock and the other for the hour and ten minute rough
Now for the main attraction 80 crab halves and claws with four lbs of pealed shrimp
Man you talk about smell good in my house. Y’all com get you some
