Thanks everyone! Had a great weekend! Started off with cleaning up our family camp Friday morning and then had a gathering of some classmates to celebrate our January birthdays (we do this every month). Had a big fish / shrimp fry at my house. Had everyone coming out at 5 - 6 PM and the whole neighborhood went dark, lost electricity at around 5:20! Well I had 3 electric cookers going! Well I had my propane going also, and a quick call to mom and dad and a second cooker was on its way! Good Lord wanted us to have a romantic gathering! We ate by candlelight and all had a good time!! Then Saturday I spent all day with the 2 people that made me! We made sausage and my wife, daughter, son and son and law came over and helped out. Made 125 pounds of deer and pork sausage. Then Sunday, I went fishing with a good buddy and fellow member Richie Rich. We went after the green trout this time because Bundicks was rising and crappie don't like a rise! Despite me waking up late and putting us 30 minutes behind, we had a great day catching 12 keepable bass and 1 red that probably went around 18 pounds (released) and I fished a new area that I had never fished before. All and all I had a very busy but great weekend!
