Thread: Muscadines

We have picked 19 gal. off of my vines so far. They started turning about 2 weeks ago, which is about 2 weeks early for this
area. We made 4 cases of jelly, gave the rest away and started looking for people to come pick them. There is still 15 or 20
gal. out there. We try to pick them all every year. When they go to the ground and ferment, they draw gnats bad. Some of
them will wind up in the house. Wife can't stand them landing on her tea glass.

Man I need to get my hands on some muscadines to make jelly with!

Yea, I think that is going to be my problem. I know there are some around my area but everyone I know uses them! lol
