No special clothes. Just a Christian based college prep school where they were built up for academics not sports. And they ettified each other. Public and private has there benefits. Our local school was not cutting the mustard. I agree with your accessment of a hard working student that knows hid field. But I'm not into the ones that skip class do not study and stay in school to keep from going into the work force. My wife and I sacrificed a lot to send him there. But it was a choice we made. It boils down to the grind in the student.

Boeing and Sabb just developed this new Saab T-X trainer. Looks vary familiar to the F-14:

That aircraft is absolutely gorgeous. Pilot and navigator configuration. Just had to share, goosebumps rose on me when I read the write up. What I wouldn't give to fly that weapon, I follow such things.

Flying F-4's back in the day with analog avionics was like landing an apartment complex.

Enough of this, I need to read the newspaper to follow what my local boys are doing in football - as well as what the LHSAA (Louisiana High School Athletic Association) is doing as well, I've got my opinions with those folks. I'm sure you figured as such.

JR, is your dad in this picture? I seem to recall you talking about a family member flying one of these.

PPG is right. He was one of the old men. All of 22 years young.
