    I think we dodged a bullet and will be OK.....water fell about 8 feet and is still falling very slowly just inching along....I don't think any backwater will push it up high enough to get us.....we have been Blessed....water is coming up around Didi's son's house in Manchac Harbor off Hwy 42 from Bayou Manchac...he is waiting it out to determine if he has to get out....Prayers need to continue for him and Danny's daughter....a lot of local fishermen are volunteering with their boats launching off the interstate to help evacuate people stranded in their homes...I saw one video of a boat that just happened along as a car went in the water.....they jumped in and pulled a woman and her dog out just after the car went under.....they had to cut a hole in the top of the convertible.....
