Thread: Better aint always better

The Wifes Gas Drier Croaked last week. The bearings in the motor locked up and the drier was old enough the motor is no longer available. after checking with Consumer Reports we went shoping . the Samsung was the highest rated with good features. The Wifey always wanted a front Loader. It is about 4 inches deeper and 2 inches taller and stackable. The Machine has a steam cycle to knock out wrinckles. There was a 3 foot hose that was 3 foot too short to hook up. The Little Beauty stuck out so far, the door on the Laundry Room will not close, To keep all the weinnie dogs at bay another trip to Town to get a gate and a 6 ft hose. The Refrigerator if needed to be pulled will not pass the Little Beauty either, to get to the hot water heater they put inside the wall. If we had gone with something simple the laundry room would not be too small. Like I said at the start, Better AINT always better. The little beauty just finished the first load in 45 minutes. the old machine would have taken an Hour,and ran very Quietly. It has a Moisture sensor to turn the Machine off when the load is dry instead of wasting Gas and Electricity. I can get use to a good feature like that
