DocWaldo had one of those trucks that ran on Natural gas. He said he loved it and the mechanics that worked on them said that the inside of the engine of a truck that had well over 100,000 miles looked like a brand new truck! Only down fall in my area is there aren't many stations where you can fill up.
There is an app for your phone CNG Now shows places to fill up and price. Lots of places in Oklahoma to fill up.
Tracker those are textile driers, for drying printed Tshirts...
TigerFanatic here in OK, we got a 50% tax credit on the CNG conversion. I drive about 40,000 a year. If the gasoline prices hadn't went in the toilet, I figured in 1 year I would have my part paid off. Of course that was before gas went so cheapppp!
Hold on the your hats gents or maybe your pants. I heard on the news this morning that some analyst is saying a low of 18 dollars a barrel this coming year. OMG!!!!

You are correct, the tax credit would be the game changer. Also, lower MPG vehicles pay off quicker. The posted prices that I see on CNG in my area are more what I pay for gasoline.
You never know PPG; most of it is speculation and media wanting to be the one who predicted it. If it is CNBC you are talking about, I wouldn't give them much credit for accuracy as they predict $18-$48 which is quite a range. They also believe that there is an oversupply of 500,000 to 2,000,000; while I agree that we are probably in those ranges, the range is so big that it can not be based on anything other than speculation.
