    Default GOT ME A CAMPER


    LOOK OUT LARTO LOL Well i found this old camper / work truck bed on cregs list and thought it might make a good over night or weekend sleeping quarters for some of my fishing trips here is some pictures of me fighting with it trying to load it on my truck BOY this thing is heavy think im going to take a break and cook me some Fish and think about how to make this thing comfortable if any of you have any Ideals please post and it my help me turn this into a home away from home I also cant get the pictures to load strait so just tilt your head and look at them

    Carpet samples from a carpet place, an air mattress, couple of pillows, a blanket and your about ready to go. Don't forget the 12 volt compressor. Looks like a rod rack on
    top already to tie some down. Better than a tent anytime. I can remember when that would have been my camper/castle on wheels.

    Can't wait to see how ya decide to fix it up. I camped and road tripped for years outa a pick up camper shell. It is a great way to go. The internet is full of examples and ideas if ya looking for ideas and the tiny house culture has some great space saving ideas. it all depends on what ya wanna do.

    The one thing i can sugest is since it is so tall ya could install a false floor and use the space for storage. I had a shell one time that I put a foot high false floor and made a slide out drawer like deal for storage. its a great space saver and ya can carpet and do what ya want on top of it.
