    I already checked the City Parish regulations and went over them with the contractor....it has to be 1 1/2 feet above the 100 year flood....my slab is about 1.4 feet below the 100 year flood (revised in 2012), so it has to be about 3 feet above my slab....they will embed steel angles in concrete holes with a flat platform to set the generator on.....you are required to have a flood certificate (which I have from 20 years ago)....

    They said the installed one recently and it had to be elevated up to the roof.....
