I had to repair my little weather station today. All is well now.



Never mind what is in the box below it. Fired up the smoker for a half brisket I stuffed.



A decent smoke ring, not real happy with it though - but it works. I've done better.



Been digging in the dirt all day while doing that. That's okay, I like such things. Ann says the women's figure skating completion is on the television this evening. Yours truly tears that up.

My citrus trees took a hit with the late freeze we had here. Satsumas, grapefruit, lime, lemon, plums, peaches, etc. Zero buds now, nothing will happen this season. I thought it was me, or what I've been doing. But talked to several folks around, said the same thing happened to them. Haven't looked at the blackberries we have yet, but I assume the same. I did the annual mulch and fertilizer to them just because.

Decided to do the weather station today just like yours Randy. Don't know why I put it off so long. 14 days learning period and it should acclimate itself to my location.
Like the colored inside unit with tons of info in the computer room. I feel so techie now.

Hello Randy,
Well I finally work through all the open jars of jelly. Since Linda and I are both diabetic we don't eat much. We had blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, apple, satsuma, mayhaw and maybe more. All of it from great friends. We finally got to your grapefruit jelly and and it was good. It had a little bit of that grapefruit bitterness to it but not enough to make it distasteful. It was a nice switch from all the sweet ones.
