Meanwhile, I've been cutting back all the dead debris in the yard and beds from the freeze we had. Sure hope it's over with. This is tease weather for sure. The frogs are talking about it and the anoles are out doing push-ups. Enjoying it big time. Will call it good before long. We'll be having a pizza with a crispy crust along with fresh sausage, pepperoni, shrimp, onions, jalapenos, and provolone cheese. Of course finish it with king cake. I need to be inside relaxing come 7:00 pm because the U.S. championships in figure skating is on the network antenna television. I like such things, really enjoy it. Beats following the Kardashian's, slaying gators, or killing bigfoot.

The one that receives the baby in the cake is supposed to have good fortune that year so they are supposed to buy the next cake. Randy, they still but the babys in the cakes around here, even the ones from Market Basket who makes a pretty decent one for a supermarket, definitely better than those walmart ones!

Saw a guy's "shop" today. The "shop" is basically a storage building - pretty polished cement floors and everything. Some folks definition of a "shop" is different than mine. Let's see - in here I have two table saws, a large radial arm saw, 16" band saw, compound standing miter saw, standing drill press, standing shaper, standing compound sander, multiple air compressors, lathe, mill, and the list goes on for wood working equipment. Two large five foot tool chests for loose tools. Have lots of electrical and electronic equipment in here as well. Separate area for fooling with electrical motors, etc. I like to fool with such things.

Hot and cold running water, A/C and heat. Even a shower here. This gentlemen is my definition of a man's cave. And, what I call a shop.

I might add, wired for some serious classic rock and roll. The dogs have their beds in here as well. Ann also has a place for her laptop in here for some reason, I guess she likes being in here with us. Zero TV in here. That fellas, is the way you roll.

Did you know that to replace all the line on a Mr. Crappie Solo reel to original number of feet requires 600 feet of line and over 1530 turns of the crank? I didn't either until this morning. What an unnecessary pain in the neck!
I should have just cut off 50 feet and called it good.

I just added some line to the original. On some poles I added braid and on some I added heavier line but only about 100 feet of it. The original stuff is 8 pound and I call it backing. I can't wait for the day that I have a fish on that pulls off enough line to get into the backing.
