The new truck of mine doesn't have a key to start it, it has what they call a FOB. Plastic with buttons on it. The only thing I have done with it was start the truck and go, don't do the truck lock thing. Anyway, going to the truck this afternoon after work, reached into my pocket to get the keys, the truck started honking constantly. Didn't know what to do. Looked everywhere in the truck to see what was going on while the honking is going on constant. Then started pushing buttons on the FOB. There's a button on there labeled PANIC. Apparently I pushed it accidently - lessoned learned. They must have that button on there for folks who go to their vehicle's in the Walmart parking lots. Ann thought it was funny I attracted attention. Doesn't bother me a bit.

I shop at Walmart and I know what the panic button is for.They been around for at least 20 years. Guess if you shop elsewhere your panic button alarm's at the higher prices.

I shop at walmart also....just the way I roll....LOL.....they got the best fried fried okra in town and the corn dogs are pretty good also.....once got about 6 ball caps on sale for $1 each....also the only place I can find the small bottle Pepsi.....don't need a panic button there....got my security in my pocket on ready.....

My security rides on my right hip and back up in left pocket....never leave the house without it. just the way I roll lol....the chics dig it

The dealer linked my phone to the truck to do all sorts of things. One thing I like is when I get a text message, a nice female voice will read it to me. There is a button on the rear view mirror that will call road side assistance, another red button will call 911. For some reason I was thinking the red panic button on the key FOB did the same thing. Was unaware that has been available for the past 20 years.
