    Randy....take plenty of pictures of the wall wiring.....I have had to go back plenty times to look at mine years later.....plumbing also.....I can tell you that those wall plates really do pay off....have hit a few....

    Good point Bruce, I've been doing that with the wiring. All plumbing comes up off the floor, nothing in the walls. Didn't like the idea of that, sweated copper as well on all pressurized pipes. I have a problem with PVC under pressure, just me. Set my water well at 90 psi for a good shower. All DWV pipes come up the outside of the house, don't want anything poking through the roof. You're right about the stud plates, paid off in dividends.

    Didi soldered (sweated) all our copper joints when we remodeled......also did not use any pvc.......didn't like running a new vent thru the existing roof so I used an "in the wall " vent....you just have to put them where they can be replaced....only replaced one in 21 years (behind a mirror).....looks like this.....checked the code and they are OK....
