There was never any evidence that I was smart.
The school of hard knocks doesn't hand out diplomas, but if it did I'd have enough letters after my name to cover the page.

Noon thirty went to see Mom at the nursing home in Farmerville. the channel was packed with boats with only one opening where someone recently went home.... I tried to Obstruct traffic to see one fish pulled up from the depths as i went across the 33 bridge at Jakes . the new D'Arbonne Cabins was where it was happening.... Every Bird you could imagine had pushed the bait fish up against the bank and the water was boiling with Bait and Birds. I dont know how the Boats did but the birds did not leave Hungry. it will be intresting to see if anyone makes any posts of how they did with the parking lots full
Dealing with a downed tree today with the high winds we had last weekend. Large one too. I'm glad the chainsaw decided to behave itself. Now, I just have to remember to cut the pieces in shorter lengths. Tough on the back, that's okay, it's good for me:

Went to the Mexican grocery and picked up a couple of nice beef skirts yesterday:

Pretty for sure. They're called "fajitas" now a days. I remember going to the butcher when I was young, and my grandmother had to ask for them. Dirt cheap, they were scrap. Cuts like this you won't see on the pretty shrink wrapped Styrofoam at Walmart. I'll make good use with that for sure. Meanwhile, Ann wanted my chicken fried steaks. Did it the way we did back home, she tears it up:

Egg wash and crushed crackers. That will be serious with some thick white gravy and mashed tators.
I will be over as soon as I can get the lear jet cranked up :biggrin
If you got a lear jet, buy me a 350 hp motor and drop it off on your way. I'll figure out what to do with it later.
"G", I wouldn't put a 350 hp motor anywhere in that purdy lear jet. Nice paint job too. (Sorry Danny, nothing personal for sure)
