We'll be having some pecan praline king cake this evening after dinner. That's the kind I like. Don't care for some of the local bakeries version of it as a modified donut. If I wanted a donut king cake, I'd go to Walmart. I likes the pastry type, rich in flavor. The real deal, except the baby wasn't in the cake. Folks now a days don't do that because the politically correct think it might harm someone.

Just googled it. I have never been down for Mardi Gras and wasn't aware of the tradition. Guess I learned something new today. And that cake looks AWESOME!

the Baby is a small necked infant that is hidden in the cake for Groups sharing the Cake.. Whoever gets the Baby in their piece of Cake is Suppose to buy the next Cake.
Those of you that live very close to a pond or other Body of water are now hearing all the Frogs Screaming their Mating calls.... The Frogs announce Spring !!!! Others Look for the Groundhog but the Clouds might Overshadow when Spring Starts, But the Frogs never miss ---- WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A EARLY SPRING !!!!

Meanwhile, I've been cutting back all the dead debris in the yard and beds from the freeze we had. Sure hope it's over with. This is tease weather for sure. The frogs are talking about it and the anoles are out doing push-ups. Enjoying it big time. Will call it good before long. I need to be inside relaxing come 7:00 pm because the U.S. championships in figure skating is on the network antenna television. I like such things, really enjoy it.
