Randy, next time we meet bring a jar of blackberry and I'll bring you a jar of figs. I'm talking preserves of course. Our figs were scarce this year, but we put up a few jars. The pecan trees look good and full. I have been eating cherry butter lately. Picked it up at a country stand in Michigan. Was lost on a back road, but worked out good. Should have seen the size of the cabbage(about 1 ft diameter) I got to go cut myself. Also picked up some mater's and corn. Ended up giving the cabbage to my wife's niece in Nashville, whom I met for the first time. I will post the results of what she cooked. Unfortunately we had already headed home. She calls this Amish stuffed cabbage rolls. Remember that's one head of cabbage. Name: cabbage rolls.jpg
