Reminds me of going to Blacksburg, VA a few decades ago for the first time so Ann could go back and see the campus where she received her masters (Virginia Tech). Everywhere we went, hotel, restaurants, etc. had some sort of turkeys involved. I said the first day there, "what's the deal with the turkeys?" Come to find out, that is the mascot - couldn't believe. Beats a fuzzy costumed elephant for sure though.

I think we may be the only team with a Rooster as a mascot. Cocky is pretty cool though, even won Mascot of the year once. Course Clemson calls us chickens, those not so much lately.
