Ann took some pictures while she was tootling around. A tree on the edge of the woods next to the gate:
Nice picture here, we have several on the edge of the part I have cleared:

Hey Randy, for about $800 you can have a metal cover over your boat. Installed. Takes the guys less than 2 hrs and they are gone. Would suggest you get 4 of the tie downs that screw into the ground. Don't know where you park the new toy, but you could make the cover long enough for it also. Just go online and type in metal carports.

I like the one you have at your camp Danny, like it a lot. Currently have a 80 ft. by 30 ft. pavilion where we keep Ann's jeep, the tractor, one small trailer, dog kennels (when were not at home), a spot for the new toy, pirogue, etc. I have lots of stuff. What I would really like is a shop like yours, but the property is very hilly - no flat spot to pour a slab. I do have a spot that I laid the limestone on where I keep another trailer, again not level. I wonder if that would work on a slope? Thanks Danny.

You can slope them a little end to end. Side to side has to be close to level. A 12x26 would cover the boat completely. About $800 installed. My cover at the camp is 24x26 so I can also park the truck under it. It cost $1400 installed. Make the wall posts at least 6 foot tall, but no higher than 7 unless you are going to add some panels on the side. I buried a heavy duty ext cord in pvc to mine and I hung a 4 ft light under it. That gives me a way to charge the boat.
